Open Morning
See the school in action.
Our open morning is a chance to see Carlton Colville on an ordinary school day: the classrooms, the children at work, the grounds and our facilities. Meet our teachers and other families choosing a school too.
When
Tuesday 24 November, 10–11am
Who it’s for
Families looking at Reception in September 2027.
What happens
A welcome from our headteacher, Mr Sparks, then a look round the school while lessons are running. Our staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Children
Children are very welcome. There’ll be a quieter space if they need a break from the busyness.
Booking
Please let us know you’re coming, so we can plan for numbers.
Where to come
Carlton Colville Primary School, Gisleham Road, Carlton Colville, Lowestoft NR33 8DG. There’s usually space in the main school car park. If it’s full, there’s an overflow car park just down the road, but please come to the school first.
To change your booking, please ring the office on 01502 572682.
Other ways to come and see us
A tour with Mr Sparks
Prefer something quieter? A 30-minute walk round with our headteacher in a small group, while the children are in class. Mornings and afternoons, every week until Christmas.
Stay and play
A relaxed hour after school for you and your little one to explore our Nursery and Reception classrooms.
Most parents find it useful to come on a small group tour and to the open morning. If you can, start with a tour: it’s the best way to get your own questions answered.
